The University of Murcia has organized a photo exhibition on the building XXV years of convalescence, which houses the Rectorate, and can be seen on the ground floor of the building, located in the square of the Red Cross.
On the occasion of this exhibition, the director of the General Archive of the Region of Murcia, Rafael Fresneda, lectured at Convalescence on the history of this building.
The exhibition in pictures the history of the building since XXV years ago was opened as a branch university after purchase by the Ministry of Education.
Throughout these years, have gone through the same, among others, Nobel laureates as Mario Vargas Llosa, Saramago or Coetzee, honorary doctorates and other personalities from the fields of culture, finance and business.
It also has hosted the celebration of numerous conferences, seminars and exhibitions, among others.
