The Governing Board approved the receipt of documents that retained the institution since its inception in 1775, the Kingdom of Murcia.

The Mayor, Miguel Angel House, and the President of the Royal Economic Society of Friends of the Country, Jose Egea Ibáñez, agreed earlier this year to promote a partnership to bring the Murcia outstanding funds of the valuable treasures that institution.
And now, after several meetings between municipal officers and those responsible for the file, finally approved the receipt of various publications, which will enrich the Almudí important file in the coming weeks.
The file contains the Economic Society funds since the launch of this institution, in 1775.
Dedicated to the study and promotion of initiatives to modernize the country, the Company developed content for the former Kingdom of Murcia, which stretched areas now belonging to four regions.
The quality and rigor of the research in these funds become essential to any historical study of the territory.
The documents currently treasures Economic Society are opinions, minutes, reports and publications on matters economic, artistic, political and cultural.
In most cases, these works have been preserved in duplicate, allowing the transfer of copies without affecting the collection of the Society.
From the company point out that their intention is to bring the outstanding funds to retain all Murcia and facilitate access to researchers.
