It's a tradition.
Every year, on the occasion of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the Capuchin College students today held the feast of its patron with a series of activities, which started this morning with a meeting in San Francisco Plane, at the entrance to the garden of the Malecón, where once stood the convent of the Franciscans.
The Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, and Councilman Traffic and Transportation, Javier Iniesta, wanted to join the celebration this morning and visited with the school's garden Malecón, where is installed a sculpture that pays homage to the Saint.
Chamber reminded the students the importance of the order of St. Francis of Assisi, not only in Murcia, but worldwide.
Also, the Mayor of Murcia has sought to highlight the need to know the history of this Saint, who was characterized, among other things, to leave all the comforts and luxuries enjoyed to devote himself exclusively to the needy.
