San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM), recently participated in the tenth edition of the European Conference on Educational Research, a prestigious international meeting of world experts in Educational Research, held in Cadiz the past 17 to 21 September.
The doctor and researcher at the School of the UCAM CAFD, Antonio Calderon Luquín, gave a presentation and On-Going Extended Learning of Sport Education, framed by a panel of experts on teacher training physical education in an international context, Sports titled Teachers Learning Education: Lessons from Successful Model, which was also attended by experts in Physical Activity Sciences and Sports of the University of Auburn, Alabama (USA), Limerick and Cork (Ireland), Peter Hastie, Oleg Sinelnikov Ann McPhail, and Fiona Chambers.
Also noteworthy participation Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, of San Antonio Catholic University (UCAM), Antonio Sanchez Pato, and expert at the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the UCAM, Sonia Martinez Castro, the 40th edition of the Conference of the International Association for the Philosophy of Sport, which ran from 12 to 15 September in the School of Sport, University of Porto (Portugal).
Teachers Duck and Martinez Sanchez Castro, presented two communications respectively titled, Sport and Virtual Reality: humanizing playful utopia, and Philosophy and Gymnastics: Sport philosopher tasks.
From the Faculty of the UCAM CAFD also highlights the implementation from January 2013, a new international research project, entitled Basic Skills in Primary Education.

In the study, which will be supported by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, will participate by the UCAM, doctors, Antonio Calderon Luquín, as principal investigator, Antonio Sanchez Duck, Jose Luis Arias, and Fernanda Borges, along with researchers from the University of Oviedo, and Alabama (USA).
