Facilities at the new Center of San Antón has broadened the offer social and cultural neighborhood.
The Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, this morning visited the facilities of the new Senior Social Center of San Antón, a space that has expanded the social and cultural offer that the Consistory performs in that quarter of the city.
The Mayor was accompanied by the Councillor for Social Welfare, Maria del Carmen Pelegrin.
The center, located next to the building of the FREMM, includes various classrooms and youth and for the enjoyment of other institutions.
At present, the center consists of 425 members and between activities that promote the city of Murcia are various courses, a book club, organizing cultural and recreational trips, as well as the call for talks and seminars on topics interest.
Miguel Angel House has used his visit to tour an exhibition of handicrafts that summarizes the artistic work in different centers of the Municipality of Murcia, fruit of self and enterprising spirit of the greatest Murcia.

The exhibition will be installed in the hall of the 2 to 9 October.
