The IU-Greens councilor in Murcia, José Ignacio Tornel, today accused the City of "hide" information "aware" of the "vicissitudes" involved the initial project for the arrival of the AVE to the municipality.
Tornel has indicated that the council, as a member of society High Speed, was aware that the initial project for the burial of the tracks in the station of El Carmen was not possible, but did not inform the public about it.
In this regard, he recalled that the government team did not explain the obstacles that the Ministry of Public Works noted in the original project even when the municipal group of IU-Greens asked about this issue at the July plenary.
Therefore, according adds Tornel citizenship "was not informed" until the Secretary of State for Infrastructure, through the media, said that he could not perform.
He indicated that IU-Greens unsuccessfully claimed the government team in the full commitment yesterday to meet with the residents of the affected neighborhoods through their municipal boards, and find alternatives to explain this situation, something that the PP refused.
"The arrival of the AVE in surface means no limit postpone the solution to the isolation of this part of town, and is once more highlighted the manipulative electoral politics and the PP, which builds projects shamelessly false".
He has also stated that "the political weight of the PP of Murcia to the government of the nation is zero, because the time to reclaim our mayor promised services not dare to speak out, either by submission or by weakness."
"The mantra of the punishment of Murcia has to apply it himself, because he does not fool anyone," he assured Tornel, after highlighting that posed as the National Government the burial of the tracks "is far from becoming reality ".
