Surgery Solidarity shows his work in Cameroon (27/09/2012)

Surgery NGO Solidarity yesterday presented a documentary on the work carried out in Cameroon health.

The event is part of the activities planned by the Department of Development Cooperation of the City of Murcia on the occasion of the Aid Week, which ends on Sunday.

Surgery Solidarity was born in 2000 on the initiative of a group of professionals (doctors, surgeons, nurses, anastesistas, etc) within the Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca.

Since then perform their work shifts to countries with lack or absence of health coverage for operations and training of healthcare personnel.

In the documentary that presented yesterday showed his last visit to Cameroon, which moved more than twenty professionals who performed an average of 30 operations per day.

Also, people who could not attend the screening yesterday have the opportunity to know the work of the NGO with the exhibition that is installed in the Municipal Center García Alix.
