The mayor highlighted the work done by the City Council to work with the Committee to Support Sex Workers (CATS), which serves sex workers and their families, of which 94% are women (50% of them Latino) and 6% men.
Attention is conducted both in homes, on the street and in clubs.
Boatman has indicated that the goal is that sex workers are well cared for and not abused, violence and sexual exploitation.
Equality between men and women is a firm commitment of the entire City Council, which develops and implements measures, which are present in all areas of services and Consistory.
