Seminar starts Department of Mathematics, University of Murcia with a conference on algebra (19/09/2012)

The professor of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia Maria Rosa Massa open tomorrow, Thursday, September 20, the new course of the seminar organized by the Department of Mathematics at the University of Murcia.

The guest lecturer, specializing in History of Mathematics, will give a lecture entitled "The algebraization of mathematics courses in some seventeenth-century mathematicians."

During the conference, to be held at 17:00 am in the auditorium of the School, will discuss the introduction in the seventeenth century algebraic procedures to solve geometric problems.
