Carlos Ordoñana Guillamón, student of the Faculty of Arts, has won first prize in the Short Story Contest VII Erasmus: Thader Mall, University of Murcia, which, with a total amount of 18,000 euros, is intended to help financially during your stay in the respective European country to students of the educational institution participating in the Erasmus program 2012-2013.
The winner, whose fate Erasmus is the National University of Ireland Galway, met today in the building of Convalescence (home of the Chancellor of the University), check the first prize of 9,000 euros, for his work "A single word" .
The second prize of 4,000 euros was for the story titled "The last day of Pulcinella," the student of the Faculty of Communication and Documentation María Cristina García Guillén, to submit studies at the University of Rome "La Sapienza".
Third, with a staff of 3,000, the jury considered the text "This strange" by Maria José Clemente Pianelo, Faculty of Arts, student will enjoy your Erasmus scholarship at the National University of Ireland Maynooth.
The fourth prize of 2,000 euros, was received by Miguel Martinez Deltell, student at the Faculty of Economics and Business and whose destination is the Technical University of Liberec (Czech Republic), for his work "The man of Prague".
In the ceremony, José Ignacio Limpo, director of Operational Malls Heritage Area Metrovacesa, sponsor of the awards, highlighted the success of a contest in which there have been 145 reports, 20% of the Erasmus students for this course.
Meanwhile, the rector, José Antonio Cobacho, thanked the company for its commitment to a competition which celebrates its seventh edition.
