"The UCAM is the first university in the world to implement NFC technology in its entire campus," as stated on 11 September in London, the Director Multimedia of San Antonio Catholic University (UCAM), Samuel Mendoza, and the Director of the Computing Service of the University, Sergio Leon, during the presentation of UCAM NFC Project in Higher Education Smart Card Association Meeting (HESCA), a leading international expert symposium in NFC technology and smart cards, held in Sheraton Park Tower Hotel in London.
Onsite UCAM NFC project, developed by the Catholic University San Antonio, together with Banco Santander, Vodafone, Gemalto, and the Public Transport Authority of the Region of Murcia (EPTRM), was also presented with great success in editing iconic 2012 Mobile World Congress, held in Barcelona between last February 27 and March 1.
