The Governing Board of the City of Murcia has given the green light this morning to grant aid of € 30,000 for four associations working in the field of drug dependence, within the Municipal Drug Plan.

Thus, it has approved the grant to associations that relate the following grants under the Municipal Plan on Drugs:

- Association ALFAMUR

- Foundation DIAGRAM

- Foundation SOLIDARITY AND REINSERC.-PROY.

MAN

- Neighbourhood Coordinator COMPASS-GROUP.

Murcia City Council conducts a broad program ambitious Municipal drug dependence, through which we work in different spheres of action, where prevention is one of the main actions.

The impact on the actual information of the effects of the use and abuse of alcohol, snuff and other drugs is one of the points to which special attention, in order to promote critical thinking and develop alternative attitudes and behaviors; transmit healthy lifestyles, develop the ability to resist peer pressure in the context of its role in the onset of substance abuse, preparing for decision making.
