The Department of Tourism is launching the card Murcia Tourist Card, a tool that will allow visitors to benefit from discounts tickets in museums and buildings of interest and plenty of leisure facilities, hotels and shops.

The Councillor for Tourism, Miguel Cascales, that this morning the board, explained that it is intended that persons visiting the city know the main attractions at a very affordable price.

The card is available for 24, 48 or 72 hours, and offer free entrance to museums municipal Murcia, Murcia Casino, Cathedral Museum, Aquarium University and Salzillo Museum.

Account discount Terra Natura Murcia Circo Teatro, Teatro Romea and Auditorium and Congress Centre Victor Villegas.

Likewise, people who purchase the card will have discounts of between 5 and 20% in a hundred eateries, fashion, footwear, accessories, etc..

In the cafeteria of the English Court, presenting the Murcia Tourist Card, you get a lid and a glass of wine.

To launch this initiative, the Department of Tourism and the Department of Employment, Trade and Enterprise, led by José María Tortosa, have been made with restaurants, bars and trade associations Murcia Center, Barrio del Carmen, and Triangle Murcia, among other entities.

The Murcia Tourist Card is available online at the website of the council, with a 5% discount on the official price, or at the Tourist Office in the Plaza del Cardenal Belluga.

The card is not transferable and presentation the user can access all discounts at participating establishments.

The price is 24 hour card is 12 euros for adults and 4 euros for children, the 48 hours will cost 18 euros for adults and 6 children, and 72 hours is priced at 21 euros for adults and 8 euros for children.

The card design is modern, innovative and attractive with high quality images, so that visitors can keep the card as a souvenir of their passage through Murcia.

Along with the card, buyers will receive a brochure and discounts specified establishments participating in this program.

This initiative is part of Murcia Tourism Promotion Plan 365 which aims to improve tourism in the city and attract visitors all year round.
