Young people were awarded in 2011 in the disciplines of Music, Literature and Visual Arts
Six young Murcia, winners of different disciplines Creajoven 2011, participating in Weya (World Event Young Artists), the first global gathering of young artists held in the British city of Nottingham.
The youth artists will be held from 7 to 16 September and will fill the streets of Nottingham in different artistic activities, workshops, symposia, conferences and debates.
The Murcia participating in this initiative are: José Manuel Delgado Riquelme (Creajoven for Literature 2011), Pedro Godoy Atiénzar (Creajoven Visual Arts 2011) and the group 'The Lawyers', formed by Juan Antonio Franco, Manuel Villalba, Matthew Lopez and Salvador Riquelme (Creajoven Music 2011).
These artists show their creations with 1,000 artists from 100 different nationalities.
Creajoven is the contest of the Youth Council, headed by Miguel Cascales, which rewards young artists who work in different disciplines (literature, food, visual arts, painting, music, etc ...) in the municipality of Murcia.
Participants will have the opportunity to showcase and share their creativity on an international platform, as well as new techniques known.
The Murcia will attend the festival with artists from Madrid, Valencia, Salamanca and Malaga.
Murcia Participants were chosen by a jury from thousands of young people who showed up to represent Spain in this first global gathering of artists.
