Councilwoman Andrea Garries again unfortunate that tourism policies remain stagnant and local government just does not make efforts to carry out an effective tourism promotion, especially when they are three weeks to start the September Fair and at this point there is no published information leaflets over it until the last week of August
The socialist mayor Andrea Garries again emphasizes the need for a real commitment by the PP of La Glorieta by tourism in the municipality as a driver to exit the economic crisis.
It is not acceptable, the complaint Garries-PP, year after year, fall into the same mistakes, staked their tourism policies and take a step forward to carry out a genuine promotion of Murcia holidays, when missing three weeks before the Fair begins September and at this point, the tourist office located on the square Belluga, no brochures available for the holidays, one of the most important in the region, until the last week of August.
In this sense, the PSOE councilor recalled that in the past Bando de la Huerta, declared International Tourist Festival, local government also released a few days before the meeting brochures and now are approaching September, he adds still some time before without offering details on the September Fair, more of a time when Murcia receives tourists from the beaches of the region.
"While tourism policies remain as unambitious and the PP will continue to perform his usual lack of foresight will continue to make significant investments, without the Murcia city and obtain comparable performance in terms of proper promotion of our town and off our borders, "he concludes.
