San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM), has this morning signed a collaboration agreement with the NGO Action Fire, in order to regulate the cooperation between the two parties for the implementation of humanitarian projects and development cooperation in countries underdeveloped and developing, or having undergone an emergency or disaster.
The agreement includes the signing of agreements that may provide unique actions in areas such as collaborative teaching activities and research in the field of emergencies and / or international cooperation in undergraduate, graduate or specialization, or practical work by students of UCAM in the premises of the NGO.
In addition, the agreement will allow collaboration on project financing cooperation or disclosure of the objectives and activities in Action Fire, and the participation of teachers and students in projects that the NGO takes place in the international arena, offering advice and mutual support interventions.
The agreement was signed by the president of the UCAM, Jose Luis Mendoza, and Vice President of the NGO FIRE IN ACTION, Romero Saturnino.
For its part, the director of the Degrees in Architecture and Building Engineering, Juan Roldan, stressed already several collaborations that has kept UCAM Firefighters in Action, as are those in Haiti or in Lorca after earthquakes.
"Fire in Action has among its concerns social work, we share in the School of Architecture and Building Engineering, and by extension in all University", stated Juan Roldan.
