Some 50 schools in the parish participate in all activities and workshops organized by the city of Murcia in July
The New Javalí Murcian hamlet has one of the 25 summer schools that the city of Murcia has organized for the month of July, and have offered a total of 1,380.
The councilman of Culture, Rafael Gomez and Councilwoman Equality Policy and Development Cooperation, Alicia Barquero, this morning visited the summer school in the hamlet of New Javalí.
The activities to be developed today are:
- Painting workshop: creation of energy-saving book.
We will create a series of personal files and creative energy-saving tips: on water, light, differences between renewable and nonrenewable.
- Workshop of physical and sports activities: sustainable energy.
Playing know and discover concepts on energy sustainability.
- Crafts Workshop: Sustainable house: This activity will make the model of a house with everything you need to make it sustainable.
This could be explained as being the day to day in a person, from which rises until bedtime, being green: garbage cans, ways to save electricity and water, etc..
In addition, there will be two more crafts: paper recycling and experiments to understand the meaning of the terms pollution and biodegradable.
The visit to the Contraparada is another activity that have made this morning, participants in summer school.
Through play and fully immersed in the natural environment, the youngest have learned the origin of the dam, the current role and use of it.
