The Rector of the University of Murcia today presented the medal to the university commitment to Franciscan Father Francisco Martinez Fresneda, who retired after a long career as a teacher in the academic institution.

Martinez Fresneda has taught at the College of Education for thirty years.

The event, held in the building of convalescence under the direction of the rector, Jose Antonio Cobacho, was attended by numerous friends and colleagues of the honoree, as the director of the Theological Institute of Murcia, Pedro Riquelme Oliva, or the former University Ombudsperson University of Murcia, Mari Carmen Sanchez-Rojas.
