The museums of the city of Murcia prepared, once again, a wide and varied range of activities for young and old can enjoy the culture in the summer.
The Museum Ramon Gaya, the City Museum, the Museum of Science and Water and Space Río_Caballerizas Mills have about twenty different activities to enjoy the museums during the summer months.
Museum Ramon Gaya.
The exhibition "Ramón Gaya on ABC Collection" shows 20 drawings by Ramon Gaya for the magazine Black and White in 1932.

Theatre Workshop.
Through this workshop, students work exercises verbal and physical expression, perform skits which adopt different roles and create their own plays and thus develop their creativity and imagination.

Students will analyze the paintings of Ramon Gaya, know the different techniques of the painter and made interpretations of various works of Gaya.

For young people to know the architectural highlights of the city of Murcia, through the Museum, and so become familiar with their urban environment, use of perspective in drawing and meet specific architectural vocabulary.
Target group: children aged between 10 and 14.
Monday to Thursday from 10 to 13 hours.
Traditions vegetable garden at the Museum is a children's workshop with which, through the different pieces showing the Museum, children can understand what life was like in Murcia in the past, a time when tools such as the basin and the jar were essential in household furniture.

Summer is a good time of year to visit the Museum's permanent rooms in a relaxed, therefore guided tours for groups in the collection rooms and thematic visits to the temporary exhibition.

The four museums in Murcia develop intense throughout the year that has caused the number of views recorded in 2011 has reached 124,646 people in 12 months.
Space Río_Caballerizas Mills has had 47,489 visitors, the Museum of the City has reached 25,615 visitors, the Museum of Science and Water has recorded 28,935 visits and the Museum Ramon Gaya has reached the 23,307 visits.
Regarding so far this year, namely until May 31, four museums are now a total of 52,767 visits recorded.
