The Hall of the Catholic University San Antonio (UCAM) has been the scene this afternoon of the third Green Festival Gala `The Firefly Fused ', promoted by the UCAM, under the sponsorship of Banco Santander, the Agency Energy Management Murcia (ARGEM) under the Sustainable Action Project for the Preservation of the Environment, UCAM Green, to raise public awareness about the need to protect the environment through the implementation microcortos spots and audiovisual, by students, professionals, and lovers of cinema, Communication, and Ecology, designed to raise environmental awareness.
Notably, have been a total of 26, the microcortos submitted to the contest in this third edition of the Festival, this year marked the debut of a new, dynamic and participatory process of diffusion and mass vote of the works submitted for competition, to through social networks.
The first prize was awarded to short `The condition of modern man ', the second has been given to the work Love` Green', while the third, went to the video 'Recycle-Use'.
Festival Director, Javier Zafra, expressed his satisfaction at the conclusion of this year's Festival of the Firefly Cast and underlined the firm commitment of the Catholic University San Antonio for the defense of the environment.
"The UCAM, through initiatives like these that drive the development of environmental awareness, able to establish synergies with their students, and involve a struggle and the defense of the Natural Environment, which today is worth fighting" he assured.
