The municipal group of IU-Green in the city of Murcia has filed a motion to the next plenary session by requesting the placement of facilities that generate spaces of shade in schools in the municipality.
The bill proposes to establish the works of highest priority shaded area through consultations with municipal boards and perform a feasibility study to create protected areas of the sun in all schools.
It also claims that the Ministry of Education, the Municipal School Board and school community in each school agreed to address the potential investment required for each performance.
The IU-Green councilor in the city of Murcia, Jose Ignacio Tornel, has indicated that warmer days are conditioned schools teaching practice and leisure, and has ensured that some management teams do not allow their students practice certain activities in the yard to avoid heat stroke.
Tornel considered "appropriate" to carry out alternative educational strategies to avoid this danger, "but this should not preclude other efforts to create large areas of shadow that facilitate the activities safer."
It has pointed out that the holiday period can be exploited to prepare the facility facing the school year 2012-2013.
