This course will be held at the centers of La Alberca, Alburquerques, Barriomar, Churra, Gea and Truyols, Javalí Viejo, Patino, La Paz, Pedriñanes, Puebla de Soto, The Depth and Zeneta.
The Tai Chi workshop aims to improve overall fitness level throughout the body, movement, flexibility and balance, providing a balance between body and mind.
Also, it enhances relaxation and inner calm, helps control stress and a sedentary lifestyle, improves breathing, increasing the capacity abdominal positively active circulation and cardiovascular system, nervous system, lymphatic system and tract, relaxes and strengthens bone structure, invigorating the entire body and stimulates the intellect, attention and memory.
The highest will practice opening exercises, joint twisting, and stretching of muscles and tendons of the body parts: head, trunk and limbs, balance exercises (legs and arms), breathing exercises, exercises, mental focus and concentration, exercises and relaxation techniques and learning techniques, sequences and repetitive movements.
It will be held in the Social Centres for the Elderly of the Albatalía, Corvera, La Cueva, Nonduermas, El Palmar, El Ranero, St. Anton, St. Basil, St. Michael, Holy Angel, Vistabella and Vistalegre.
The courses begin after the summer.
These activities are held each year at various Senior Centers.
The City Council makes an investment of more than 24,600 euros.
