A group of professors from the University of Murcia working in environmental education project "Mula River awakens your senses," which takes place in the municipality of Alguazas until next September and aims to promote volunteering and participation citizens in the preservation and enhancement of rivers, flora and fauna.
The activities developed by the technical team from the University of Murcia, coordinated by Professor of the Veterinary Faculty of the Christian Faith, including a workshop on birds of the Vega Media and tracking footprints, another quality analysis river water and a series of informative lectures in schools and institutes Alguazas, and an exhibition of materials donated by the Anatomical Museum of the said Faculty.
Action is an initiative of the Spanish Association for Environmental Education, in collaboration with the City of Alguazas and various associations of local, as Alegra Association, the Association of Women Alguazas or Senior Citizen Club, and belongs to the program Volunteer in Rivers of the Segura basin.
