More than 600 city employees have received training on gender equality to strengthen the daily work to achieve equality and prevent violence against women in the different municipal areas.
Such actions are referred to in the Municipal Plan for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men of the City of Murcia.
Councilmember Equality Policy and Development Cooperation, Alicia Barquero, this morning attended the last of the eight training sessions have been carried out since April 20.

Training sessions are taught by the staff of the Equality Agency, which provides municipal services to other advice, guidance and help in mainstreaming gender.
The City Commission of Gender Equality, chaired by Alice Waterman, makes this basic training in Gender Equality as a strategy for city staff to share concepts and methodologies of work related to equal opportunities and gender mainstreaming.
