The Cultural Center of San Juan de Alicante, has been the scene this afternoon of the official signing of the agreement formalizes the transfer of urban spaces for the installation of the San Antonio Catholic University of Alicante, in the town of San Juan.
Note that the agreement was signed by the president of the Fundación Universitaria San Antonio, Jose Luis Mendoza and San Juan Mayor Manuel Aracil, in the presence of the rector of the Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM) Josefina Garcia Lozano, and by the Councillor for Education of said Municipal Corporation, Javier Yebes.
The president of the Fundación Universitaria San Antonio, Jose Luis Mendoza, has been enormously pleased with the final formalization of this agreement, and expressed his desire to start the academic activity at the latest for the year 2013-2014.
Similarly, Jose Luis Mendoza expressed his appreciation to the mayor of San Juan, Manuel Aracil, and the bishop of the diocese of Orihuela-Alicante, Bishop Rafael Palmero, and stressed that this project would not have been possible without the involvement of both .
Meanwhile, the mayor of San Juan has said that the installation of the San Antonio Catholic University of Alicante in the town of San Juan, is a milestone that will result positively in the economic and social development of the municipality of Alicante, and for all Valencia.
