A ranking places the University of Murcia in 18th place in the dissemination of free software (30/05/2012)

The University of Murcia has been ranked 18 in terms of creation and dissemination of the software is free, according to ranking by PortalProgramas, who has analyzed 72 Spanish universities.

The ranking value to universities using 37 indicators grouped into seven dimensions: culture of the university open source, teaching, technology, outreach, webometrics, institution and production.
