The City Council continues to support the work of CATS with the extension of its agreement (27/05/2012)

Murcia City Council maintains its cooperation with the Committee in Support of Sex Workers (CATS), non-profit association that defends the rights of sex workers.

From this association provides free care to people working on streets and highways, clubs, apartments and autonomously.

The City Council has been working since 2005 with this association, which provides a subsidy of 50,000 euros to support their social activities

CATS goes weekly to places of prostitution on road and in club to inform, support and publicize the services of the association and provides a service call.

It also does advocacy work.

Prominent among them the prevention of sexually transmitted infections aimed at customers and potential customers.
