Murcia will host the meeting of the Red Civitas Spain and Portugal, whose third forum was held on Monday and Tuesday at City Hall.
The Network brings together municipalities from both countries concerned about sustainable mobility, energy conservation and emission reduction through improved health and air quality and reducing the impact on climate change and transport costs and mobility.
The forum will begin its work on Monday afternoon with a workshop, while the opening session, by the Mayor, Miguel Angel House will be held on Tuesday, at 9.30 am.
Discussion and analysis of these two days, the Red approve the "Agreement of Murcia", cities in terms of electrical mobility, which will be presented in the local forums, regional, national, European or world in which the signatories participate .
The municipalities that make up the Red Civitas work in the design and implementation of actions to improve urban mobility as key to achieving sustainability of cities and promote the fight against climate change
