The neighbors will be planting some of the neighborhood's public spaces 24 and 25 May
In order to promote participation and respect for public spaces in the municipality of Murcia, the Los Rosales in the hamlet of El Palmar Murcia will celebrate the so-called Garden Okupa, in which a group of locals go to regenerate public spaces by planting native plants and flowers with technical support from the Department of Environment, led Adela Martinez-Cachá.
The activity will take place tomorrow Thursday, May 24 and Friday 25 May from 17:30.
The site chosen is between Sunflower and Peach Street (next to the barracks of the Guardia Civil).
The objectives of this participatory activity of the residents of Los Rosales are
- Retrieve residual urban spaces
- Involve the locals, so they feel responsible for their work and in turn convey the respect, solidarity and participation, and respect to the maintenance of urban public spaces.
