Throughout his career he has released several albums with a great host and has enjoyed collaborations with big names in music like Stuart Staples, Beth Gibbons and Neil Hannon.
He has performed with Ryuichi Sakamoto and Ludovico Einaudi, among others.
In his new album, The Magic Mountain, Rodrigo has begun a journey which evokes memories of his adolescence, using instruments like bass, the Portuguese guitar and accordion.
For this new project in concert music has created powerfully evocative songs for words that are plotted in the thought that each of us only hear.
A job in which magic and sophistication always mix the particular genius of LeĆ£o.
There are very few cases like Rodrigo LeĆ£o in Portugal: a composer of talent so big, so broad an artistic vision that deserves the adjective teacher.
LeĆ£o is at the height of his career.
His career began in the 80's as a founding member of musical projects like Madredeus and Seventh Legion, but was so she decided to contribute exclusively to the individual project.
And was right: after three successful albums - Ave Mundi Luminar, Theatrum y Alma Mater-Passion publication, a compilation album was recorded live, sales success, critical and awards.
