San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) inaugurated this morning the First National Day of Olympism: Road to London under the title 'The goal of excellence', is being held today at the Temple of the Monastery of San Jerónimo.
The event is organized by the Faculties of CAFD and Social Sciences and Communication, together with the Sports Action Service and the Centre for Olympic Studies at the UCAM.
During the opening intervened UCAM president, Jose Luis Mendoza, the president of the Spanish Olympic Academy Durántez Conrad, the Director General of Sports Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games Barcelona 92, Manuel Fonseca, the Dean of Degree CAFD Antonio Sanchez Duck, and the dean of the School of Communication, Paul Blesa.
The first responders have been Durántez Conrad and Manuel Fonseca, who lectured on "From London to London Olympic development ', and' Complex organizations: keys to success', respectively.
Conrad has conducted a review of the history of the Olympic Games in London, which has been defined as the first Olympic games of evolution, and that marked important milestones.
He also claims that "sport should be compelled to fight the best. Sport has to be a teaching of life and life is about compromise, you have to suffer to get what you want."
For his part, Manuel Fonseca said that "in any organization must do well to be a success," and has conducted a review of the organization of the Olympic Games in Barcelona.
"After the games we made a collection of circumstances that had given them to be successful," he asserted Fonseca, who added one of the points to get the win "know what to do and how time. "
UCAM President, Jose Luis Mendoza has highlighted the clear commitment of the University for the sport, and shown as proof the seven years leading the university to lead the Spanish medal.

Homage to the Olympics
Note that during the Day was made a tribute to the Olympians of the UCAM who have competed in previous Olympics or are in the qualifiers to compete in London 2012.
The UCAM has recognized the work of Juan Manuel Molina sports, Leire Iglesias Ermine, Iulia Necula, Zhu Fan, Benjamin Sanchez, Miguel Angel Lopez, Lysvanys Arlys Perez Rodriguez, Shen Yanfei, Jesus Cantero and Adrian Gavira Collado, who could not attend the act by sporting commitments.
It should be noted that athletes Benjamin Sanchez Bermejo, Shen Yanfei, Lysvanys Arlys Perez Rodriguez and Miguel Angel Lopez Nicolas and have secured their place in the next Olympics.
