IU-Greens have been joined to the demonstration by students and staff of the University of Murcia (UMU) against cuts driven by regional and central government affecting public higher education.

Lola Sanchez, coordinator of IU Federal Areas and Herguedas Esther, Jose Manuel Lopez, and Lucy Martinez, responsible for Education, Youth Organization and IU-Green Region of Murcia, respectively, have taken part in this call.

They have also participated in the same responsible for Housing and Emancipation, Sergio Ramos, and Councilman in the city of Murcia, Jose Ignacio Tornel.

The rally started from the square of the Red Cross and completed in the palace of San Esteban, the regional government headquarters.
