The Catholic University San Antonio (UCAM) has signed a collaboration agreement with the Clinic Winds, a new center equipped with high-level medical technology.
The agreement was signed between Catholic president, Jose Luis Mendoza, and the CEO of the Clinic Winds, Antonio Alvarez.
Thanks to the agreement, students of the UCAM degrees from Health Sciences, will perform in clinical practice.
According to Luis Concepcion, medical director of the Clinic Winds Hich Tech Cotillas Towers (Murcia), "This relationship will be very interesting for both parties. The clinic is equipped with newly created high-level medical technology, in fact installation is the first open MRI high field installed in Spain, and the reason for the meeting today the signing of a cooperation agreement for the UCAM students can do internships at our center and enrich their education with technology and knowledge provided by the clinic "
Furthermore, Luis Concepcion added that "we will providing qualifications and number of students in the UCAM gradually, initially and primarily in the areas of Physical Therapy and more dedicated to the imaging and musculoskeletal disease, and little by little we will incorporate students from other degree "
Moreover, the director of the center in Murcia, said: "This center will provide students the UCAM, apart from being able to contact with high technology and cutting-edge technology too, the chance to broaden their training in one aspect much more practical and immediately applicable upon completion of their studies, because the world of image diagnosis is very important at this time in the assessment of any disease or health condition "
