The City of Murcia is attached to the award of the Gold Medal Clemente Garcia (12/05/2012)

Murcia City Council wanted to join the initiative of the Regional Government to grant the Gold Medal of the Region of Murcia to the former secretary general and former mayor of Murcia CROEM, Clemente Garcia Garcia.

The Gold Medal recognizes Clemente Garcia in his long career defending the interests of the Region of Murcia.

Clemente Garcia was mayor of Murcia from July 1972 to April 1979 and in May of 79, he became a general secretary CROEM.

The accession of the Municipality of Murcia was agreed at the meeting week of Governing Board held on 2 May.
