The Councillor for Education, Maria Dolores Sanchez, explained that the municipal nursery schools provide quality services for children 0 to 3 years and intends to update the fee paid by parents according to the services being provided.
Parents of children attending any of the seven primary schools, are charged 14.26% of actual total price of the service.
Each child is an average annual expenditure of 7,169.13 euros to the City, the parents bear an average of 1023.37 euros / year, or what is the same as 97.46 euros on average per month.
The City Council has seven primary schools which are the San Roque (Algezares) Beniaján, La Ermita (La Alberca), La Paz (Murcia), The Lugarico (El Palmar), Our Lady of Fuensanta (Santiago el Mayor) and Our Lady of the Angels (Sangonera la Verde).
Schools offer a total of 500 places for children from 0 to 3 years.
Every year 200 new parking spaces are available.
