The NGO Entreculturas shows at the Civic Center of El Carmen in the exhibition "Entreculturas' and 'Entreáfrica' a collection of twelve photographs that present an Africa worthy, positive and hopeful.
Some of the pictures are from refugee camps and other work of the NGO in the country.
Councilmember Equality Policy and Development Cooperation, Alicia Barquero, this morning visited the exhibition and highlighted the important work as Entreculturas organizations, bringing services to refugees who otherwise would not.
Entreculturas, along with the Jesuit Refugee Service works to humanize the fields that welcome millions of refugees and displaced causing the endless armed conflicts ravaging the African continent.
In these fields, support the rehabilitation and education of children to have a decent life and a future.
The exhibition will be open until May 11, Monday to Friday, from 10 to 13 hours, and 17-21 pm in the Municipal Center of El Carmen (Alameda Capuchin, 32).
This initiative is part of the activities planned by the Department during the month of May, which is dedicated to promoting the work of NGOs working for the municipality Africa.
