The University of Murcia held tomorrow the "Fun Run VI" with the collaboration of Directorate General of Physical Activity and Sport of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment of the same, and Department of Sports, Youth and Tourism of the City of Murcia.
The competition, organized by the Sports Activities Service of the University of Murcia, has as main objective to promote healthy lifestyles among young people.
Also the staff of the University of Murcia and even athletes from outside this area may enroll in the trial, provided they were born in 1996 or previous years.
The test, with an approximate distance of 4,500 meters, has the start and finish in Monte Romero Stadium and passes through the main avenues of greenways and the southern Espinardo Campus.
The difficulty level is low, as there are no outstanding and is performed only on paved ground, making it affordable to everyone.
This year has limited the number of participants to a maximum of 1,500 runners, a thousand less than in the last edition.
The aim is to achieve greater security and that the test is developed quite normally, reducing the pushing and tripping as a result of the high number of athletes.
At 12:30 hours, will take place trophy and medals.
TIME: 11:00 am, leaving from inside the stadium Monte Romero.
PLACE: Monte Romero Stadium.
