Document scanning and Newspaper Archive is being done through the projects of local and regional administrations
Murcia City Council continues its project to expand its documentary basis which are digitized documents and historical records of the municipality of Murcia.
So, this time, have been digitized archival documents and newspaper archives of the XVI, XVIII, XIX and XX.
File have been reproduced:
- The Chapter Acts of the eighteenth century (1701-1800), 99 books.
- The cartularies Reales (royal charters Books), sixteenth century, 8 books
70 documents of the sixteenth century
- Executory of Mrs Joan on fishing in the Mar Menor.
Sixteenth century
- In total: 63,763 images.
From the Newspaper Library has played 68 new titles from the nineteenth and first half of the twentieth century published in Murcia, Cartagena, Lorca, Molina del Segura, Murcia and Yecla.
Most are Murcia and all of it is preserved in the Municipal Archives of Murcia.
Total: 70,000 images.
Moreover, it should be noted that completion of the work has been distributed by the Project Crimson of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, with the digitization of the 68 press titles: 70,000 images, the 99 books of Chapter Acts: 58,787 images.
Total: 128,787 images.
