The House requires the adoption of the Autonomous Region plans to improve air quality (26/04/2012)

The full City Council of Murcia has unanimously approved a motion of the Municipal People's Party, presented as an alternative to the PSOE proposal to control emissions and improving air quality.

The text of the motion passed as follows: "According to the provisions in Articles 5.2 and 16 of Law 34/2007 of 15 November, Air Quality and Protection of the Atmosphere, from this Council urges DG Environment of the Autonomous Region to the adoption of relevant plans and programs to improve air quality, with particular emphasis on areas where it exceeds the air quality objectives for one or more of the pollutants regulated by existing legislation (RD 102/2011 of 28 January on improving air quality). "
