The University of Murcia has resumed cooperation had maintained since 2006 with FCG and has signed a collaboration agreement with this entity and the Painted House Foundation during a ceremony held in the building of Convalescence.
The agreement, which has been promoted by the rector of Coordination and Communication, María Ángeles Esteban, aims to promote and develop actions to cultural, artistic, educational and scientific as well as conducting training and practices University students in centers of foundations.
The undersigned, FCG Cabero, son of the artist, by foundations, and Jose Antonio Cobacho, rector of the University, have stressed that the agreements to boost cooperation sealed when twentieth anniversary of the birth of the FCG and fifty professional life of the painter and sculptor muleño.
Cabero Gabarrón said that the Foundation, "which seeks to raise awareness through art" is "nourish the knowledge of the university" and informed of the intention of reviving the draft Chair Guillermo Cabrera Infante, now paralyzed by the economic crisis .
The president, meanwhile, has referred to the "importance of the Foundation and the extraordinary work they do, which I witnessed in the latest installment of the FCG International Awards."
