The training leads to the full magenta study to implement the work from home for those municipal employees who, given the nature of his job, and always on a voluntary basis, wish to pursue this option
The councilors of the Municipal Progress and Democracy Union in the city of Murcia, Ruben Serna and Jose Antonio Sotomayor, requested in the next municipal Plenum starting a study to analyze what local jobs are likely to exercise the option of telecommuting.
To UPyD Murcia, this measure has clear benefits in terms of cost savings to the municipal coffers without having to apply social cuts, to improve the quality of life reconciling work and family environment and also a way to avoid outsourcing services to improve productivity.
Thus, after identifying the jobs likely to benefit from the system of teleworking, and always on a voluntary basis, those who want city officials could benefit from this initiative.
In the words of Murcia UPyD spokesman, Ruben Serna, "it is demonstrated that telework is beneficial and that its implementation is possible" and since the formation magenta "we focus on work and family reconciliation."
Furthermore, he concludes, "we firmly believe that before applying cuts involving social decline, you can save on other items and areas," as this option of telecommuting or the implementation of free and open Linux system, rejected by the popular group the previous Parliament.
