The Department of Cooperation starts with the UNESCO Centre this activity to increase ties between Murcia and Paraguay and promote the Millennium Development Goal 5: Improve maternal health
Fair exchange, conferences, exhibitions and book presentations are among the activities planned by the Department of Development Cooperation of the Municipality of Murcia and the UNESCO Centre to celebrate the week I Intercultral Hispanic and Paraguay for Development, Education and Indigenous Women .
Councilmember Equality Policy and Development Cooperation, Alicia Barquero, explained that it is to publicize the work of the UNESCO Centre of Murcia, to promote World Book Day (April 23), celebrate Teacher's Day in Paraguay ( April 30) and spread the Millennium Development Goal # 5: improve maternal health.
The program will run from 23 to 26 April.
The main events will be held on Wednesday, with a fair cross-Paraguaua Hispanic, with the participation Centers for Women of St. James the Greater, Barrio del Carmen, Infante D.
Juan Manuel, Gran Via, Barriomar, Patino, St. Basil, Vistaalegre, Bacons Bridge and partnerships OMEP (Organisation of Murcia Business and Professional Women of the Region of Murcia), Huermur (Association for the Conservation of Huerta Murcia), Association of Friends of the Bagpipes and Drums, Murcia Association Inside, paneled Cultural Association, Association for the Defense of Culture Guarani Columbares Association, The Young and the Group Ajuntaera Caravaca.
The fair will open at 11 am in the Plaza de la Merced.
At 12.15 pm students will perform at the School of Dramatic Art.
At 17 hours will be held creative workshops with health issues, environment, cooperation, etc..
At 18 hours there will be a gala with a performance by artists Silvia Vargas, Daiana Ferreira Da Costa Villalba, folk duo Alma and Peter Zulín Guarani.
At 20 hours will close the proceedings.

- Lecture - Lecture given by Fernando Known 'geometric abstraction', at 8.15 and 10.00 pm in the Auditorium of the IES Miguel Espinosa.
- From 11:30 am.

* Presentation of the book 'Yokei' by Cristina Izquierdo and Illustrated by Joshua Iriarte, students from IES Miguel Espinosa.

* Presentation of 'Intercultural Week' by Pablo Reverte, UNESCO Chair Murcia.
- Recital of poetry, at 19.00 pm in the Exhibition Hall of the Casino of Murcia, where poets intervene: Fernando Sabido, Pedro Vera, Denise Garcia, Jose Luis Martinez Valero, Amaya Martin, Jose Antonio Azpeitia, Joaquim Piqueras, Ginés Aniorte Pedro Vera Sanchez, Francisco Jesús Muñoz Soler and Mara Romero Torres.
- Opening Art Exhibition under the theme "Dialogue Hispanic - Paraguayan Development ', at 20.30 pm in the Exhibition Hall Barrio del Carmen.
