The University of Murcia celebrates 19 and April 20, the X Conference of University Development Cooperation, under the title "Cooperative and Microfinance in the international arena," classroom of degrees of the Faculty of Economics and Business in Espinardo campus.
The first lecture will begin today at 16:00 hours, with a description of the social economy in the international arena and an analysis of the importance of cooperatives in the economic and social development of many countries.
The second conference was held tomorrow, April 20th at 09:30 pm and address the particular issue of credit unions or savings, focusing on the study of the importance and problems of microfinance internationally.
The aim is to analyze the advantages of co-operative enterprises, not only economically, but also as strengthening the values ​​of democracy, participation and inclusion.
These seminars are part of the activities organized by the Master and Doctorate of Economic Development and International Cooperation of the University of Murcia, and is aimed both at students and the technicians of NGOs and stakeholders in the field of international development cooperation , microfinance, cooperatives and social economy.
