Regarding the press release issued this morning by the socialist municipal group, about the training courses planned for the future Corvera airport workers, Councillor for Employment, Trade and Enterprise, José María Tortosa, said that the City of Murcia has fulfilled all the provisions of the Employment and Training Service (SEF) of the Autonomous Region of Murcia.
Moreover, he pointed Tortosa, Murcia City Council approved last March by the Governing Board training courses to be given to workers that the SEF selected to carry out such training.
Responsible for Employment, Trade and Enterprise has said that the city of Murcia has not received any notification from the SEF to proceed with the suspension of recruitment training courses.
José María Tortosa explained that since the installation of Corvera International Airport has been built in our municipal area, it was our obligation to the intervention in all those measures which improve economically the area where the airport is located.
As is well known that employment is one of the priorities to be addressed, and the future of human resources required for these facilities.
In this sense, The City of Murcia "has always been along the evolution of this project and pending any activity that would favor the creation of jobs for airport neighbors and other citizens of Murcia".
Finally, José María Tortosa has said that all actions are carried out mostly in the facilities of the Employment Service of the City of Murcia, because "this is the only competition we have from the local administration, as well as funding selecting formed are given by the SEF '.
