The University of Murcia has today, day 16, the Mediterranean Conference Know How to meet during the next five weeks in Murcia and Cartagena researchers and personalities such as biochemistry Margarita Salas, Rafael Rebolo astrophysicist and the painter Pedro Cano.
Organized by the Campus of Excellence Mare Nostrum public universities in the region, this multidisciplinary conference is divided into five thematic (Universities in the Mediterranean, Science, Sea and Sky, Mediterranean Sustainable, Food and Health and the Economy and Society) that show supply and potential artistic and cultural researcher from the University of Murcia and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.
The various conferences and symposia are structured as courses in the International University of the Sea and will be free, as well as other scheduled activities, including meetings of students with researchers and other leisure and cultural events and scientific excursions, guided tours, cycle theater, storytelling for adults and bird banding.

The opening ceremony held today, Monday, at 19:00 pm in the University Community Centre, Espinardo campus, with a lecture by the president of the University of Haifa (Israel), David Faraggi.
In this event, entertained with the musical performance "Seed Flemish and Mediterranean flavors," will come also the CEO of Scientific and Technical, Juan Maria Vazquez.
Tomorrow, Tuesday 17, within the Congress, will open the Bazaar of the Euro-Mediterranean University Research 2012, with the presence of the rector of EMUNI (Mediterranean University), Josef Mifsud.
Will be at 9:00 pm in the lounge of degrees in law, the Merced campus.
A press conference presenting the Mediterranean Know How Congress attended by the Vice Chancellors of Research and International Relations at the University of Murcia and Cartagena Polytechnic, Gaspar Ros, and Ramon Ruiz, respectively, who have defended the usefulness of the campus international excellence.
Also involved the coordinator of the Campus Mare Nostrum, Pascual Perez, the coordinator of Scientific Culture and Promotion of Research at the University of Murcia, Antonio Guirao, and the director of the International University of Mar, Maria del Carmen Martinez Graciá.
