The full City Council rejects Murcia Murcia UPyD motion requesting that the Consistory ultimately ensure the grant of the Cathedral Museum
The Plenum of Murcia Town Council has rejected the initiative of Progress and Democracy Union by which it urged that, ultimately, the City of Murcia take over the Cathedral Museum with its possible closure thus preventing damage evident tourism, economy, culture and image of the city.
The proposal has been rejected by the votes against the popular group and with the abstention of socialist groups and IU-Greens.

For Serna, "it is essential to keep open the Cathedral Museum," because it involves a clear benefit to all citizens and visitors of Murcia.
In his motion, defended in the House Municipal, requested to ensure that if the Ministry of Culture withdrew the grant to the City Council, and be exhausted all the possible, outside the city of Murcia which ultimately took an imminent and close the payment of the grant received by the Museum.
