More than 450 members of Women's Centers and Women's associations in the municipality are currently participating in the meeting 'Environment and Gender Equality' held in the protected area of ​​El Valle Perdido.
This initiative is part of the activities planned to commemorate the International Women's Day, the Department of Political Equality and Development Cooperation, and is done in collaboration with the Northwest Greenway Consortium.
The activity allows the meeting and exchange of experiences among women and participation in environmental activities, gender equality, sustainability and the presentation of the Greenway.
All participants enjoyed a meal which was attended by the Councillor for Equality Policy and Development Cooperation, Alicia Barquero.
