A doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Informatics, University of Murcia by researcher Miguel Angel Martínez Aguilar has devised a method that can provide organizations with the necessary elements to ensure privacy and proper use of personal data.
The research, which has obtained excellent cum laude, offers a practical and systematic proposal to conduct an audit of personal data protection, for using a general method for requirements engineering.
To support the audit method created, the paper develops a software tool that facilitates its application.
Both the system created as a support tool has been validated in several real case studies, as stated in the thesis.
The research was led by Professors Eduardo Fernández-Medina, University of Castilla-La Mancha, José Ambrosio Toval, University of Murcia.
Was part of the court, among other professors, Mario Piattini, Professor of Languages ​​and Systems at the School of Computer Science of Ciudad Real, which is considered one of the world's best researchers in the fields of systems engineering and software.
