Aims to raise awareness on gender equality and bring the sport to women
Over one hundred women participated in the practice of tai chi class and self that has organized the Department of Equality Policies, directed Alicia Barquero, in collaboration with the Federation of Judo and Sports Associate Region of Murcia, on the occasion of International Women's Day.
Barquero Alicia attended this activity which seeks to raise awareness and report on gender equality and aims to bring women to the sport and show involvement of women in different sports.
This exhibition has helped the Municipal Sports Service.
This is a class / exhibition of self-defense and Tai Chi, with specialized monitors that took place in Hall José María Cagigal.
The International Women's Day was celebrated on 8 March but the council has organized activities to commemorate the whole month.
