The summer school program of the International University of the Sea, which for the second year combines the offerings of the University of Murcia and Cartagena Polytechnic, has this year with new offices in Mazarron, Ceuta and Archena (Spa).
In this edition, the twenty-ninth, are a total of 102 activities, half of them new-distributed among 17 municipalities in the Region of Murcia, plus San Antonio de Portmany (Ibiza), Archena Spa, Academy of General Air, Diving Center Navy and Marine Corps School.
The courses, whose enrollment is opening soon, will begin in mid-April and will last until the third week of September.
In presenting the program, which was held in Convalescence, the new director of the Sea International University, Professor María del Carmen Martínez, stressed that the international wanted to print to the courses, and the claim of the same in show the tourism potential of the Region of Murcia.
The rectors of the universities, and Felix Jose Antonio Cobacho Faura, stressed that in times of economic difficulty and without more resources, provision has been expanded and improved, and appreciated the support of the collaborating institutions.
During the ceremony, statements were also the CEO of Universities and Scientific Policy, Eduardo Osuna, the manager of the Foundation Cajamurcia, Pascual Martinez, and the Murcia regional director of Banco Santander, Julian Parraga.
